THQ a company known for various IPs is bankrupt. After various triple A titles proved to be a failure financial the company can no longer run as is.

Kind of depressing knowing this happened. Hopefully whoever buys it improves the company overall.

If this was THQ earlier in the decade I honestly wouldn't have cared, but unfortunately they seemed to start running into real financial woes the second their lineup of games finally started not being total garbage. At least they're not closing, that's the last thing we need more of.

We've known they were in deep shit for a while; that's pretty much the reason they did that shitty Humble Bundle thing a little while ago.

No... more... Saints... Row...
Meh, idc.
They were going to go out of business a while ago, I'm surprised that it didn't happen earlier.

This may not be the end for THQ, and games already in development will be released.

Bankrupt and shutting down are two different things. This isn't Wheel of Fortune. A company can survive a bankruptcy. Just look at CompUSA.

They are coming out with South Park (which looks quite good) and Metro: Last Light.

Compared to most large third party publishers they are actually pretty good and push out a lot of games you wouldn't expect.

Since SR3 was a step in the wrong direction, I was doubtful they'd be able to do much in SR4.
That was about their only good game since they killed every other franchise that was once good (like Destroy all Humans...damn that game was fun back in the day.)

I disagree. The other saints row games sucked and the third finally got many things right!

In my opinion. SR3 was the best in the franchise, and I honestly cannot wait with what they do with SR4. Hopefully all goes well. THQ was a decent company.

Content and minigame wise it was the best, but I always enjoyed the story of SR1 and 2. SR3's story was utter shit, and clearly just tacked on. I really wasn't too impressed considering the intro was pretty awesome.
