I was thinking that vinyl films are relatively cheap and they are excellent in protecting your devices.

This would be great to custom make your own full body protector.

Let's all chip in tips and ideas on how to apply it from a generic roll of vinyl films!

Yeap. Tried that. Offered maximal protection but at the cost of covering both top and bottom screens. Not really an ideal solution.
