Hardware Thinking on getting a new PC

Gonna do more research then.

Ohh and about importing... maybe i should go with it.
Does anyone know a shop that's reliable and has good cheap PSUs like the XFX one? Ofc that ships to Bosnia. I would call the Customs Service and ask how much i would need to pay for them( and probably would get it faster cause they are already gonna know what's being shipped)

Well i emailed them and they said that they can get the PSU to the town where i wanted to buy so they said they can get it on Tuesday but then i found out that the same shop is in the town next to mine so i can get it this week for sure there. I emailed them again to see if they can send it to the other town, if yes then i'm getting it.

But... i'm skeptic about power.... Is it really gonna be enough power to power the new PC :/ ?
Idk if 550W is really enough.

(Btw i'm talking about the XFX Core Edition P1-550S-XXB9 550W )

As Thanatos Telos mentioned in an earlier post, 550w is more than enough for your prospective build. Just remember to disable the C-State in the bios.

Will do, thanks for re-confirmation.

The shop contacted me and said that its gonna come in a day or two, so yeah i'm getting it.

There are a lot of C state, only turn off C6 and C7.

For reference, I'm running i7-3770K + HD7870 + 4 HDDs and I'm only consuming 300 W at stress from the wall outlet.

Don't forget that you should mention your MoBo. Some take more power than others (eyes on you, Asus).

Got the PSU.
Had some problems cause i didn't have much space in my case(So much cables!)

Well i thought to get a new HDD but i got tempted by those cheap RAM sticks...

Atm i have x1 4 GB DDR3 stick but in a shop there's group buying.
If X amount of people wanna get it u get it for cheaper.

The RAM is G.SKILL Sniper Series F3-10666CL9D-8GBSR, its x2 4 GB sticks.

Are they good or should i pass? (I'm buying component for component so that one i would use in the new build)

Price is 90$.

Honestly, in my amateur experience and following of other techy stuff, the current day RAM prices don't really indicate whether the RAM will perform better or worse. Grab the amount of sticks you want. The prices are usually premium for colored shields or LEDs or other aesthetic stuff. I'd like someone to speak up if this is wrong, but I've found that you should pretty much just get what's affordable to you. The potential performance difference, even from overclocks regarding RAM, are so minimal that they won't mean much.

I just thought to upgrade to 8 GB cause i'll probably need it cause 4 GB isn't enough these days( and more RAM means more speed iirc)
I don't want to give much money and that one is cheap cause of the group buy and its accessible to me.

I didn't thought to buy one now but cause its cheap why not? and i wanted to upgrade it to 8 GB sooner of later.

Oh yeah, I agree about upgrading. 4GB is still pretty healthy but 8GB will leave you plenty of room right now, unless you're into some heavy-duty rendering or something really out there :o

If my post wasn't very clear (and I can see how), I was trying to explain that if you can find another set of RAM for cheaper then to go for it, because the differences in price don't really mean anything asides from how they look or the brand that made them--the RAM will basically perform the same as the cheapest one you can find (that your mobo supports, like DDR3).

If it's possible and you know what RAM stick you have currently, you can purchase another one of it and install it, giving you the 8GB you'd like. A program like CPU-Z might help you figure out who manufactured yours so you can find the right one to purchase. Just make sure when you install your RAM you have them set up properly (your mobo manual will explain this--if you have four RAM slots like 1:2:3:4 then installing the two sticks in the right place, like 1:3 or 2:4, will apparently make them more efficient or something).

That is my advice. I don't think the RAM you're looking at should be worth $90 if you can pick up a single stick from the same manufacturer that made your current RAM stick, for maybe $40 or something.

PC stuff here are different priced and that's a discount lol, normal price was 120$(cba to convert now)
And maybe i should post the specs of the one that i use right now, that one should probably be better than the one i have i think.

I'm running an 8320 @4GHz (You read the model right), a GTX 760, 5 HDDs, and an SSD, and I never go above 350W under load. So yeah, manufacturers overestimate power VERY frequently. (Or assume that you're using a shitty PSU)

Atm i think i'm using 150W with the PC i have lol

UPDATE:

Thinking of a new rig

Intel Core i5-4570
Gainward GTX 750 Ti Golden Sample 2 GB
8 GB/2x4GB G.SKILL RipjawsX F3-10666CL9S DDR3 1333 MHz

All together costs 427 Euro (582$)

I've already got a PSU

XFX P1-550S-XXB9

and HDD

Western Digital WD10EZEX

How is it? How long would it last(gaming related)? Worth the money? Better parts? Bottlenecking? Overclocking?
