I just got a de-solder pump station was in sale for the prime days and it's better than I think

it is a solder, desolder combo 80 USD!!!! today is 140.

does anybody knows, what this rubber mat is for?

Thats for swapping tips that are hot so you dont have to wait for it to cool down

Thanks mate, I was scratching my head. now it make sense the shape of cable tie at the end, so you can wrap around the wires and keep it at hand.

damn! After publishing here I started to get «promos» of mercadolibre (local ebay franchise) about the same product and is on "sale" by 340 USD!!!!! HA HA HA, MY FELLOW CITIZENS ARE ROBBERS!

Amiibo emulator. Don't know what the other design on the box is all about, I have the front design just in black. Not tested it beyond turning it on and going through the menus, but it seems to work fine.

I don't really need it, but I blame this thread.

Dunno if anyone noticed or cared, but the scope was bought as "804" - meaning 800 series, 70 Mhz, 4 channels. Now it's "824" so upped to 200 Mhz resolution. FWIW Siglent scopes seem to give quite a good bang for the buck with features out of the box and *cough* some creative key creation. Eevblog folks seem to be pretty positive on these Siglents in general - and add 3 year warranty, with price of about 500€ including VAT.

Digital option probes will be 3-400 € more though + (fakeable..) license in addition. Still depending probably next years inevstments as Amys and early consoles will be pretty much in the 'scope speed ballpark.

After some research, really a no brainer for the 'scope to aim for - and had a nice little windfall to burn.

Small update to my last post with the 2 free consoles, they're both fubar. I got the repair parts and they just weren't having it, so I stripped them for parts. The up side, the N64 was fine and stays fine, I repaired and added a new battery to pokemon gold, and paperboy the other freebie as said was cleaned up and fine. Sucks but I'll take parts over nothing at all.

Holy moly, that's just too much! For one, you have the desoldering iron that is probably a lot cheaper.

Was looking for a smaller CRT to keep in a corner and ended up finding a nice 14 inch PVM. Got it for a steal. I just need to fix a small crack on the bezel. (2nd pic is borrowed)
