Sorry to hear that. But I've only had mine going since August, so maybe you should ask me again in 8 months or so. :P

Merry Christmas 'temprs! Had a great day today, hope you all did as well. Too full in the belly right now though lol.

Just the controller haha. Console is coming in January (Analogue says, so yeah probably)

I also got this new grip for my Vita. I've been using the hinge-lid type that has R2-L2 buttons, but it's pretty cumbersome unless you're playing something that actually uses R2-L2. This was $12 and much better for everyday.

And my daughter got me this travel case for one of my watches. It's a lot harder shell than it looks. The brand is "Aurum Vault."

Looks like one of those seat cushions you sit on after a visit to the local proctologist's office... :D

Do you mind me asking, which memory card adapter do you use? both of two random ones I bought on ebay died after some time (when I have those adapters inserted vita freezes after few seconds of use, I restart the system but again when I turn it on last only few seconds until it completely freezes. once I remove adapter vita functions without problem)

Best performing SD2Vita Card Adapter...

I've got 4 of these things and they all work flawlessly. 4.7 out of 11,142 reviews, can't go wrong. :)

In the meantime, take out your adapter and wipe off the gold contacts with a lint-free cloth (nothing mind blowing, just don't do it with a paper towel). If you feel you need to do that with the microSD card as well, do it. It SHOULD help you along a bit until the new adapter arrives.

Ordered Metroid Prime 4, but turns out I'll need a specific new amiibo if I want to play with the music from the get-go. :/ Even if you're genuine they still screw you, thanks, Nintendo.

Have to see if there's an amiibo card of it on AliExpress.

That is fucking PATHETIC!!! :hateit:

A500 Plus model. I've mentioned it quite a few times, but it's one of those which has in-compatibility with A500 titles (unless you add two ROM chips with two different versions of Kickstart.)
Oh nice, yeah i'm getting old. But the A500+ haves a Fat Agnus chip so you can do a 1MB chip memory mod.

It's already got a 1MB memory expansion and 1MB of on-board chip memory, so altogether that is 2MB. Was planning on upgrading it at some point, but the job of doing so is quite expensive.

No, sadly. Saw it at thrift store, I asked if they had pullover or jacket that goes with this but they said no. Still worth it

Thanks you, bookmarking this. I suspect problem may be corrupted SD card, Ill check it for corrupted files / health when I get the time, and if SD card is fine then will move to port and maybe get new adapter just in case.

I bought an Amazon Echo Show 5 to replace the Echo Dot in my room. I was going to replace the Echo Pop in my hobby shed with the Dot and give the Pop to my sister so she can listen to music in the kitchen.

Because it's Boxing Day here in Canada, a lot of the usual online hobby stores I buy from were having sales, so I ordered from one some 10mm low-adhesive masking tape, 60 replacement Olfa blades, some silver primer, some Tamiya enamel paints, and a $75 mystery box.

From the other store, I ordered 3 different Mr. Weathering Color bottles, a bottle of clear red paint, a bottle of pale blue, some metallic paint stir sticks because I can't find any of the wooden coffee stir sticks I used to use, and 2 different kinds of panel liner from AK to try out.

How hard is it to mod one? I have a ipod classic 120gb.
The full guides are available on Rockbox's official website for whichever gen of the iPod Classic you have. If you're considering on installing a card that is of a larger capacity (such as 64GB or 1TB), be sure to partition it to GPT, due to there being limitations with the FAT32 file system.

This was my first Amiga back in the day. As you've got 2MB RAM, you should be able to run a lot of the 500+-incompatible games by loading a soft-kickstart 1.3 disk first. It loads a copy of the 1.3 Kickstart ROM into spare RAM, and boots it from there. Compatibility isn't 100% from what I remember but works for most stuff (possibly the less than 100% I remember is from using it on an A1200, which obviously has other compatibility differences).

You should be able to find the soft-kickstart disk from the usual Amiga resources. Only thing to note is that I don't think it's the same type that was used officially for the Amiga 1000 which always loaded kickstart from disk rather than ROM, it's one made unofficially for later Amigas to substitute for the built-in ROM.

I feel like I remember Supercars 2 being the first incompatible game that we got running.

I am well aware of Relokick which loads an old Kickstart version into extra memory to allow for older software to run via floppy, but this method of doing so feels inconvenient with having to constantly insert the disk each time, and that I am considering of having a permanent solution so I can change between 1.3 Kickstart and 3.1 Kickstart on my 500+ on the fly. At one point, I planned on installing a larger EPROM into my machine with a toggle switch to change banks.
