Got some new headphones. Heard about these Koss Porta Potty Pros pretty regularly so I got curious, and found them on sale for ~30 bucks.

For some context, those came to market in 1984, and have been in production unchanged ever since.
However I also heard the ear pads suck ass so I got some replacement ones from good old Japan.

They're actually, genuinely really good. Incredibly light, very comfortable, and sound great with a lot of bass. They're not as clear in the top end as my more expensive sets, but for travel? Perfect.

Like they're impressively small when folded down. GB cart and CD cardboard sleeve for scale.

In the same shipment of earpads I got some for my Grado SR80x. They're much less of an upgrade there, but do feel a little nicer as they're firmer with finer texture than the original pads.

And got some weeb music for a giggle. Pretty okay, though it's a CD-R and that just makes the jank even better.

Actually, this is the second one I’m returning to amazon. I got the first one with the gamesir x2s and G8 to see what I liked most and kept the X2s. Just didn’t think it was worth it for $100 when the main thing I wanted it for (play on any screen) is a pain to activate and locked behind a paywall once my subscription ends. But after longer with the x2s it’s too uncomfortable so I got the backbone on the fathers day sale and the easysmx m10. But NOW that the backbone is half off it’s easily the best value an has the best placed face buttons that dont keep my thumbs rubbing against the right stick.

He didn't. He found the guitar for retail, but it was the Xbox version, and he wanted the PS5 version. So he's still looking for one

I didn’t realize that Shin Megami Tensei V Vengeance had come out until it arrived at my door two days ago. I, for some reason, thought that it was coming out in August. A local Gundam shop received a shipment, and they had one of the MG kits I wanted, so I ordered it. The kit was the MG Shenlong. Now I only need the MG Heavyarms to complete my Gundam Wing set. I also ordered two HG kits, two SD kits, an action base, and some supplies that I was running low on.

I had no intention of buying anything until I saw the Shenlong.

so this is a long one, front and center we have my "new" MSI WS63 7RK laptop, its a workstation device from 2017 and holy boy this thing kinda beats my modern 2021 laptop in terms of features.
to the left under my Xbox controller is a hard drive cloning dock, just haven't taken it out of its box, and under that is a PNY NVME drive that i bought for the NVME to USB adapter.
