Lol, the Eva-01 model kit cost more than all the others combined, but everything was less than $120 Canadian. I have spent more than that before on a single model kit. my most expensive kit $130 after tax.

Building the models, helps me relax and focus my mind.

Also some kits get over $300 and the most expensive one I've seen was over $1200.

Some local prog on vinyl. What makes this interesting is that from our music listening night crew 6 follow the prog scene quite a lot and still this band has managed to stay under our radar for four years. Band name is basically a pun - meaning both waterline of a ship and staying sober at a bar, drinking only water or soft drinks.

Transformers One on 4k Blu-Ray and Digimon the Movie on Blu-Ray.

Also got two pairs of wireless earbuds for 10 bucks total.

A Titan X (Maxwell) for my XP/7 build along with a Z87-G45 MSI motherboard since the H81 board in that build suddenly died.

Cousin just gave me his old Ender 3 V2 and I could not be happier. This was a few days ago now, but it still applies lol. So far i've printed Benchy (after 3 or more failed attempts XD) and a large Fennec recreation from Rocket League. I plan on printing a Gamecube Switch dock plate next

I purchased a few things since my last post in this thread. But there are also many recent releases. I also realized that I watch more movies than I play games, so naturally I bought more movies than games.

Movies:
-Arcane Season 1 deluxe edition (UHD). A really good show and I hope that the second season will also get a 4k release at some point. But I'm quite hopeful because the 4k versions of the first one sold out. I had to get the deluxe edition because it has dices in it... and one metal dice. Haven't seen the 4k disk version yet but I will do that in a few days with a few friends
The next few movies are japanese imports of indian movies. Sadly the indian blu ray marked is dead but there is a japanese distributor who releases many good movies as blu rays. The blu rays are really good releases, too. They lack extras but the space on the disk is used as much as possible. The movie Pushpa 1 (the movie file alone without menus) is over 40GB in size (max for blu ray is 50GB) and the RRR UHD is 85GB, with the menu 94GB (max for UHD is 100GB). Sadly the releases are not international friendly and only come with the original voice and sometimes additional japanese dub but just with japanese subtitles. No english ones. It would be really great if someone had tips for a website with proper english subtitles that match the blu ray version of the movie. For popular titles (RRR) there are matching subtitles on open subtitles and some movies have the same cut as the online version, sometimes with different starting time (Salaar, Pushpa 1) but other movies have another cut and I couldn't find any subtitles yet (KGF Chapter 1 & 2, Magadheera, Eega).
-RRR Collector's Edition box set (UHD). A really great movie which sadly only got a japanese blu ray release so far. The 4k is the "imax scope" version (almost 16:9) and it also comes with 3 soundtrack CDs. Sadly the sound has a problem in one of the last songs. Otherwise it's a pretty perfect release and I had much fun watching it with friends.
-Salaar Part 1: Ceasefire (BD). Another indian movie import from japan. I also liked this movie but sadly it's only available on blu ray and not as 4k. The second one just got delayed until 2026. The blu ray got released this month.
-Pushpa 1 (BD). Not as good as RRR or salaar, but still a decent movie. The second one came out just a few weeks ago.
-KGF Chapter 1&2 (BD): from the same director as Salaar and it has some similarities in style. For the international audience, in my opinion, the second one is much easier to watch/understand than the first one. The first one is cut very fast and has very fast subtitles. Again, I'd be very interested in a source for "proper subtitles" as the cut on the BD is different to the streaming version. On the positive side: the "smoking kills", "drinking kills" and "the parliament scenes are purely ficticous" notes are not in the Blu Ray cut. They are in the pushpa 1 blu ray tho.
-KILL (4k). A friend recommended it. Just came out this month after it failed the local age rating 2 times and now it has a black "checked by lawyers" "rating". Pretty cool to have a movie with that "rating" in the collection. I haven't seen it yet.
-The boy and the heron (4k). Studio Ghibli movie. Not much more to say and I haven't seen it yet.
-Suzume (BD). Really great movie. I wanted to wait for the 4k disk which got promised at the start of this year but there are no news yet and it was only around 10 bucks. Still hoping for the 4k disk tho.
-Killers of the flower moon (4k). Watched it in cinema but it was too long to enjoy it in cinema (with 30 minutes of ads before the movie started). It's an apple tv exclusive. Except for italy where it got this blu ray release with either italian or forced english subtitles. International people beware: the other (non-4kult) version has a region lock on the 4k disk (which should not exist). The 4kult version is region free.
-Jim Button 2 movie collection (4k): really looking forward to watch this one but I haven't found anyone interested in it yet :( feels like a movie not to watch alone

Games:
After the analogue pocket and the analogue dock, I also got the adapters for other handheld games and of course I got games to test the adapters. So far I haven't gotten any game gear game tho. I also didn't play much of the games for the adapters yet.
-Rampart (Atari Lynx): a strategy game which I even got with the original box.
-Street Fighter II (Turbografx 16): it was payable compared to the other turbografx games
-Dive Alert (NeoGeo Pocket): I don't really have anthing to say about it

-GTA (GBA): was on my wishlist for a long time. But I mainly got it for the curiosity, not because it's a good game
-C.O.P. The recruit (DS): I'm a bit of a fan of VD DEV, especially of their GBA demake of Asterix & Obelix XXL and I'm a fan of the Nintendo DS so I kind of had to get their DS game
-Assassin's Creed (DS): Haven't checked it yet but I like some of the early assasins creed games
-Lost in Blue 2 (DS): seems like an interesting game so I got it
-Fantasy Life (3DS): Also seems like an interesting game
I also bought some more DS games (and especially DSi enhanced ones), but I don't have much to say about them yet.

Other stuff:
-Nintendo Power Cartridge (GB/C): A reflashable cartridge made by nintendo. It was ment to be used with special writing stations in shops where you could buy the games to write on the cartridge but it can also be written with the GBxCartRW by insidegadgets.
-EX4i (DS): an interesting flashcart because it was a competitor to the Supercard DSTWO. Sadly it's no DSTWO
-SEGA Mega Drive Controller (Nintendo Switch Online): Well... the controller for the SEGA Mega Drive. Sadly not the 6 button version available in japan. I really don't understand why nintendo doesn't put "X" buttons on their switch online controllers. How are you supposed to close a game with the controller?
-SNES Controller (Nintendo Switch Online): This one has a X button, but no home button. How are you supposed to close a game with the controller? I will probably use it with the analogue pocket and not with the switch
-NEOGEO Wireless Controller (8Bitdo): it has an interesting "D-Pad" but I haven't used it much yet
-Steve & Alex (Amiibo): I collect physical minecraft versions for the consoles I own (I even imported the New 3DS exclusive because my country didn't get it on cartridge) and these amiibos kind of fit into that. Also, Minecraft is probably one of my most played games so it makes sense to display it somehow. But I only display steve. I don't really care about alex.
-Wolf Link (Amiibo): A really great looking amiibo. I also don't have a zelda amiibo yet so there is that.

It's no dstwo and some of them are faulty (they have an endless loading loop when loading the movie player or gba games)
I know they're not based on the DSTWO, these are R4iLS clones with extra RAM and FPGA built-in. Thanks for the extra info, will bear the limitations in mind. ;)
