works on my acekard 2 as well.. i transferred the japanese rom's sound files and transferred it to the EUR rom and i never encountered any problems.. maybe the "modified" EUR rom that i came up with fixed it.. i think..

Did you just transfer the "Sound" folder? or did you transfer "sound" and all the *.adx files?

i transferred sound.sdat and all of the .adx files..

I'm using 4.0.9.bliss.K04 and a Transcend 4GB SDHC Class 6. I didn't bother reformatting the SD to FAT16.

I'd have tried MERGED LOVE (r6) BNSM1.8p2, but the current link on the AK Forums leads to an external password prompt that doesn't accept my AK Forums login.

I've had my AK2 for a day and a half, and The World Ends with You is the only game I've played past the second level. No freezes so far -- in this game or any other.

Homebrew apps in moonshell are the things I haven't gotten to work properly. I love this card for gaming and skins, but, since I intend to write music and fiction on my two DS Lites, there might be a Cyclos in my future.

What happened:game freezes also preformence of game is slow. large sprites moving acrossed the screen have a tough time. unlike my other flash cards.

Comments: this ak2 seems under powered. not sure if it can be fixed with a firmware update.

it keeps freezing where the guy runs past the character wearing the black skulled hat..

I think many people must have forgotten about this problem a long time ago.

Quite some time ago, there was this problem. The solution was to simply open and close the DS until you got past the intro. It happened on many flashcarts. Not just Acekard.
This was because the flashcart or SD card wasn't fast enough to handle the video or something and it crashed. Opening and closing the DS allowed the DS to buffer the data or something, so it fixed the crashing.
The only problem afterwards is that you won't be able to watch the intro properly, so you had to go to youtube to watch it.

Just close the DSi during this scene (do it often until this scene is done) then it should work.
Close + Open, Close + Open, so it worked for me

ok, this might sound weird, but I have a solution for you...

during the animation... and before you reach the "freezing point"... close and open your DS a couple of times... like...

close it... open it for two seconds... close it again... open it for two seconds... close it again... until you pass the "freezing point"...

the rest of the game will run smoothly from there...



I know it sounds stupid, but I found that solution on this forum and it works

If you bothered to read the thread it's working for most people with the official firmware, so it's just a problem with AKAIO. So no, this game does not work properl with AKAIO. Horay basic reading skillz.
