To the Wii U Hombrew Gods, How come there are no Save data editors for the Wii U, Cheats are very limited. The Wii is such an awesome console that has tons of cheats but the Wii U is another story

Both is technically possible. Afaik TCPGecko also supports loading cheats from the SD.
the issue is that most of the devs are no longer working on Wii U stuff. (Which is sad :()

Can someone please port the Quake games to Switch? I know it's possible with Retroarch but I can't get it to run well. Blood would be awesome as well!

A port of re3-nx the reverse engineered version of grand theft auto 3. Seen it on the nintendo switch and hope its like a super mario 64 situation where the game can be ported to almost everything.
I did some work on it.
Take a look here:

Heavy visual glitches, really low framerate and it just crashes after the first cutscene.
Audio seems to be fully working though.
This project is way more complicated than the switch version.
The switch has opengl and glfw availbale which basically makes re3 compilable with only minor adjustments.

For the Wii U version I implemented a gx2 renderer into librw which isn't fully finished yet.
Also the Wii U is a big endian system and re3 only supports little endian. Which means I had to add many byteswaps.

I hope I can get this done and playable with an acceptable framerate.

The fact that you even started working on this alone is great in itself. Even if it doesn't end up being finished i want to say thank you for giving the wii u some love.

You're the man, even if it doesn't end up in a great state or truly playable at all, the fact that you're even giving it a go is awesome.

You are the prince that was promised to all of the Wii U users, you have done so much for us, I even feel like donating you a coffee.

Any hope for any of the missing Sega emulators for the Wii U? Could 32X ever be done for the system? I'd only want it for Knuckles Chaotix which I recognize isn't even particularly good, but i still kinda like it in a morbid kinda way. What about Saturn? I know Wii had a Saturn emulator that never had great speeds, but couldn't the Wii U handle Saturn at more reasonable speeds now? My understanding is that the Switch can essentially play Saturn at full speed. And finally, what about Dreamcast? I know this one is probably pushing it, but I feel like I've heard from occasion over the years that theoretically the Wii U could handle emulating Dreamcast at decent speeds. It sure would be cool to see someone take a stab at making any of these playable on Wii U.

I don't know... I will ask them on their site... And after I will give the answer here ^^.

I see, that's sad then, I love you savegame manager for the 3DS (and Switch).

I hope that @GaryOderNichts fins people to port Checkpoint then, or that the team on Checkpoint can work with Wii U. Because SaveMii is really, really, reaaaally slow, also it doesn't save games with their name, only with the IDs.

It's fine when you don't have anything else, but I would love to se a JKSV like the 3DS one but on the Wii U.
I'm going to quote this, because we still need a better save manager for the Wii U and maybe knows and reads this now.:yayu:
