You can get a seven day free trial here... http://www.hitnews.eu/english/

For £12.50 per month with unlimited usage you can get a 360 game in less than and hour and a Wii game in 30 minutes.

Can you people who haven't even tried Usenet get that from your slow torrents? I think not...

@Wii_DS > Because of the enormous speed difference. Usenut servers (especially pay-servers) are really fast. My internet connection supports up to 2,0mb/s, and downloading with usenet gives me a 1,9mb/s speed level. Torrent speeds are depending on the speed of the seed's connection. Usenet is fast and it's speed ia reliable.

You're flogging a dead horse there mate, I afraid, torrent users who have never even tried usenet, always seem to think they know best.

Thanks for the tutorial. I never used Usenet before. Never used any kind of chatroom type stuff. Not my style. Still, it may be useful in the future.

Still haven't got me sold

I'm sold on usenet. I haven't used torrents in ages. Get a Giganews account with a newzbin.com account and Super Searcher w/ Newsleecher and the world is yours!!!

lol sinkhead! I can't belive people trying to argue that torrents are better! Anyway I have a question maybe you could help me with.

I use Grabit and my ISP's usenet service which is actually pretty good. However, on a.b.games.xbox360 a lot of games will come up as red/incomplete but usually the games are from one particular uploader named thedark1. and they never included par2's. However, on binsearch.info or even on the grabit search they will come up black and say 401/401 parts complete or whatever the parts number might be.

Is my problem with Grabit? Is the problem that he doesn't include par2s?

I'll ad some stuff to this tutorial here you might add it to the first page if you want topic starter.
Well....
There are also very good free usenet clients like grabit which i always use. It works just perfect.
I search for the stuff i want at www.binsearch.net.
You can try a free trial at this site no bill stuff required: http://www.xlned.com/. i don't now if it's also in english but dutch isn't that hard

Then there is also the fact that much internet providers have their own newsserver which is most of the time free when it's your provider. Like I use the free and good newsserver of my provider. I get max speed and all the files are complete.
The only thing is that the retention is only 3 days, so that's not really long. Retention means the time a similar document is on the server. So if you want longer you've gotta pay but I'm always fast as hack so i don't need to

.
I Hope this information is useful to you guys, and get your fast downloads!

Edit: I Just think about this:
Another big good thing about usenet is that you don't need to upload like bittorrent. So your internet speed will be faster since you don't upload and seeding stuff is illegal so....

I think different searchers look for completion on different servers, I know that NewzLeech uses GigaNews so sometimes thigns are shown as incomplete even though on the server I use they are complete.
