I used to be a brony, in the latter half of last decade or so; though I never religiously watched the show, just the occasional episode and mainly Fimfiction.

...I'm more a fan of fanfiction than the original source material, come to think; I still read Harry Potter fanfics despite having left the official JKR books behind long ago, I've never watched a single full episode of Miraculous Ladybug, yet I read fanfics of it, and I read My Hero Academia fanfics far more often than I watch the anime.
