Only took sometime to make.
Ill post a video if you wanna see it.

That sounds like a fun idea. Please post the movie. You made me curious.

Are there any other home made solutions?

I wanna see lego zapper too + instruction, please NOW!!!
Thats so fucking cool. I wonder people still play with lego these days ... I do too, but i am old, but lego is cool.

I'm probably getting that Nyko Perfect Shot. I'll probably wait for the Christmas period to be over first though.
I just ordered one from amazon. Looks like the best alternative to the Wii Zapper. I bought two Wii Zappers hoping to have two setups so two people could play Links Crossbow Training together only to find out that the dumb game only uses one wiimote to play... You have to hand the controller over to the other players. Lame. Havent gotten Wii Play yet though...

Maybe it just due to all the negative comments about the Wii zapper - so I had low hopes for it... but bought it for x-mas and it's great and love the Zelda game that came with it.

The setup works - trigger up front for shooting and stick in the back for movement. Each his own.

Ugh, I have to agree. Piece of shit is so uncomfortable. Makes playing shooting games a chore. I got sick of playing MoH Heroes 2 because I had to keep reaching up with one finger to change weapons on the fly. Crappy.

Bought 2 Nyko perfect shots for 9 bucks each at Buy.com, they are great! You have to break in the trigger a little at first so rapid firing works better, but that's normal.

How's the trigger of the Nyko Perfect Shot?
IGN says it's better than the original Wii Zapper, and it also seems to be the cheapest one...

If there was any reason for me to buy a Wii Zapper, it's Link's Crossbow Training...I knew the Zapper would suck before I could even try it, this is probably the worst peripheral Nintendo ever made...
it's supposed to look like a gun, but it doesn't...it's supposed to be held like a gun, but you don't...even the trigger is misplaced...and how do you aim with that thing? there's no crosshair or anything, so you'll have to aim with an on-screen pointer even if the game has an option to calibrate the Wiimote for lightgun accuracy (it's possible in Ghost Squad and works surprisingly well, so expect House of the Dead 2+3 to have that option, too)...
It's kinda sad...the Wii could have been the perfect console for lightgun shooters (Time Crisis 4, anyone?), but Nintendo totally blew it with the Zapper...

Nyko has been stepping up for the Wii contrary to previous outings

the trigger has a spring-kickback and feels sturdy enough. i was rapid firing at zombies in no time.

it is a very noticeable feeling trigger. some games in the arcade like time crisis have guns with a very light trigger, but this one has some feeling to it.
