The Stardew Valley 1.4 update is now available for console players

Released last month was the 1.4 update for Stardew Valley, which added a large amount of content and was considered as somewhat of a mini-expansion for the game. The free update went live for PC players near the end of November, and now after a few weeks, those on consoles can experience it as well, with the added bonus of some performance fixes and optimizations. Players on Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, and PlayStation 4 can currently go grab the version 1.4 patch on each respective digital storefront. The new mobile version of the game will also be getting the patch sometime next month, as stated by developer ConcernedApe.

The game is not bad but the main atraction is that you could marry anyone, then it was later patched and you could no longer marry animals.

"1.4 Content Update"

I'm glad they finally decided to add content to the game, since it had none before.
