So far, it's pretty much just been "Minigames, at full price".

Take a look at things like Sims 3, Pilot Wings, Pacman, even the new Nano Assault thing.
They are fun, yet, not worth the full price.
I'd say that most of these games are worth $20 dollars tops.

But there are a few full fledged games, SSF4, DOA, OOT, etc.

So you're saying some games are overpriced and others are not? What an amazing insight...

No, he is saying most games that are available so far are like mini-games, and shoudnt have been released with the full game price tag.

Pilotwings is really.. not worth £29 :/. They should have included it in the 3DS for free.

Exactly, Pilot wings is something you'd just play to get to know the features and 3D.
Not something to actually spend money on.

I do agree that some of these games would've been better put on the eShop and sold quite cheap, but that's a bit of an exaggeration. Samurai Warrior Chronicles, Tom Clancy Shadow Wars and Super Street Fighter IV 3D were all released at launch and they're all very robust and worth the price.

For me Pilotwings is well worth the money. All the reviews complaining about it being too short are missing the point - the real challenge is not in just completing the missions but in getting gold on everything. I like the type of games where you gradually refine your skills towards achieving perfection.

Anyway, to get back on topic...all the other games suck! I like Steel Diver though but again many will argue that its too short which in this case I agree with.

Can't wait to get Zelda...

Pilotwings is like £12 now and so is rayman 3D lol Even at that price I'm still not getting it.

EDIT: Okay not anymore, you can pick them up for less than £20 though :0

Have to agree with this. Especially considering the price of the console, there should have been a pack-in "full" game and Pilotwings was the appropriate choice for this.

If you are refering to Amazon, prizes change all the times lol.
SSFIV is 14.99, and the cheapest game which was Super Monkey Ball at 11.99 is priced 17.99.

But yeah, 11.99 is as cheap as you can get and the chances are random at amazon

.

I wish they had a price policy or something -.-. i got those games just a few weeks back and it was £29.99 :/

Prices have seriously dropped, and not long after launch, won't this be because the 3DS isn't selling as much as they'd hope?
The games have dropped to reasonable prices in SHOPS....SHOPS!!

yep bang on, 3DS games aren't selling that well as they hoped. Some of them could have easily been eshop titles anyway.

Its been quite long since release and even in Japan the sells are damn dissapointing lol.
That explains the price drop

People are so hyped about the upcoming releases and OoT, but I still dont see the prices raising up, it would rather fall down.
I was surprised seeing Street Fighter at Asda for 14.99

FUCK, its not even been 3 weeks since I got it for £29 lol.

Does ASDA have any other cheap games?

I'll give it 2 weeks when OOT releases, maybe I can grab one for less than £20 =P

Weirdly enough, they are selling Super Monkey Ball for £29.99, which has been on amazon for £12 for ages lol.

Neither Pac-man or Nano Assault have yet released, so it's kinda too early to make any real assessment of their value. They both look like complete packages to me, though. I'm not sure what you mean when you say most of what's out there is mini-games. Bust-a-Move is about the only thing that really comes to mind. Sims 3 may not be a good game, but I'm pretty sure it's more than just a mini-game compilation.
