Preloader DOES BRICK a console with a 3.4 firmware! Few days ago I went this way and got semi-brick, i.e. the system menu was completely unaccessible

Fortunately the preloader itself was preserved so I managed to return to 3.4 and proceed with upgrading to 4.1...

lmao, u contradicted yourself in the same message!

u say preloader bricks... then u say "Fortunately the preloader itself was preserved so I managed to"... fix it!

its obvious to me, that u were using an older version of preloader, and u did not have a properly patched system menu IOS

if u were able to use preloader to solve your problem, can u really blame preloader?

I am not sure what I am doing wrong. I am on Wii version 4.2U and I am trying to get my Backup Launcher to run but every time I do it just goes to a black screen and never loads.

I am on version 1.0.6 running IOS61 v21.29 if this helps anyone. Do I have an older version that needs to be updated?

I hope someone help me with my problem. When installed Priiloader 0.15 to have a safe way to install wads, now all i get is the priiloader menu at start even not pressing reset; i cant acces system menu however i can to HBC and know is not a bannerbrick cuz already uninstall the wad.
Will it be safe to install priiloader again or should install system menu again?
Is it posible to be a Mailbrick? cuz i have wiconnect on as is described in this thread http://gbatemp.net/index.php?showtopic=199396&st=0
By the way is a LU73 4.2u Wii using Cios 202,22,223 rev4 and Cios249 Rev14.
Any help will be really apreciated

@Daco, I got "System files are corrupted" error message, and nothing else was possible to do.

@xflak40, you'd better read posts more carefully
I said I got semi-brick due to priiloader's incompatibility with sm34, and semi-brick means that it means!
And I don't blame priiloader, I posted confirmations (warning) for others who might follow this way having the same sm34.

@Daco, I don't understand that you mean, but the problem was already solved by restoring original IOSes with help of Dop-IOS MOD
