i fixed the problem i had gotten two hacks.ini files and i used the wrong one but everything is good now though =D!

yeah what xflak40 said, i actually going out to buy a new SD because of compatibility issues. they are sure to be fixed on a future revision of preloader. But it seems a good idea to have a sure thing.

got preloader .30 on myWII 4.2 on the run. First installed 0.29 then updated to .30. The only Question i have:
What hacks do you activate. All or only a few of them. And what do the hacks mean. For example: Move disk channel......

I read the entire thread. Still no explanation of what every setting can do within the preloader setting menu.

I really only understand what autoboot and return to does. What about the rest?

Preloader 0.29 wont update to 0.30

Wifi work fine using wii system and HBC and USB Loaders so why wont it work for preloader justs sits there saying downloading changelog.

wifi light on router not flashing. nothing wrong with router as my phone/pc can connect to it fine and wii normally .

wii firmware 4.2E (yuK)

b4 i update HBC v1.06, everything was fine,
then i check my preloader yesterday, try to load HBC (for testing)
it cant load!!

it says, "Error autobooting HBC, maybe title not installed?"

wat should i do?? my preloader is v0.29
n i try to update the preloader by internet,
but it just keep say " downloading changelog"....in the end....i still havent update..

find the preloader0.30r4 installer/uninstaller thread download it stick it on your SD card, boot up HBC through your system menu and run the installer

none or the versions of Preloader is compatible with 3.4, you need to go to 3.2 or 4.X..!!


Q: Now that I installed Preloader v0.30, whenever I go back to the SysMenu, it's like if I turned OFF and then ON my Wii (the safety scren appears again), how can I avoid this...?? my settings say "Autoboot: SysMenu" and "Go Back To: SysMenu"

what do i do with it do

Do I put this to be on root of sd card or in app folder ?

do i need to rename it or what app do i use to install it i guess you use HBC but it dont find it (had put this in root of SD

You must put it in apps folder and rename the *.dol into boot.dol. BUT: Do you have any version of preloader installed?? IF
not you also need a hacks.ini in the root depending on what WII version u use. If you never used preloader, then please read
the howto on WIKI http://www.wiibrew.org/wiki/Preloader.

try first installing preloader 0.29 !!!!
then update to 0.30
