I've been a faithful user of the cheat database for a while and I've also noticed this problem in the latest revision. Yu-Gi-Oh World Championship 2008 (U) appears to be the only game in my list that doesn't allow you to configure cheats from the R4DS menu. I've tried alternating between the CHEAT.dat and USRCHEAT.dat files for the main source of codes as well as making use of the r4bugfix2.exe, but so far none of these methods have worked.

Would the fact that I'm running the latest firmware (1.18) have anything to do with it? I'm certain I have the correct region.

In Narin's signature he links to this thread using the 'topic' tag, whereas it doesn't work in his signature, it does work fine in a post. I'm simply letting him know that's the case.

Generally when things like this happen they are due to conflicting codes like color wrapped the wrong way which may very well be the case considering a darker blue is used along the actual [topic] tags whereas not around the word 'thread' which a lighter blue is used.

P.S. How am I supposed to use these cheats on SCDS1? o.o; Can I? O.o; It says Supercard but I know SCDS1 uses the seperate ones for each (ANNOYING!) so I figured it wouldbe none of these...

Guitar Hero Ds cheats work perfectly fine!
Slowking, you could just add them yourself as soon as cheat is fixed an send it to Narin or you could download the Narin's xml and do it yourself, Narin doesn't have to make cheat.dats...

I'm unsure where to post this, I'm hoping this is the right place.

I used the codes here for Final Fantasy Tactics 2 (E). All items, all jobs, etc.

But I'm now stuck, and unable to progress. It's the quest where you have to make an instrument for the bard. I'm unable to make it, as there's 99 in the shop, and there's 99 in my inventory. As it's a story item, I'm unable to destroy it.

Is there some sort of a code, to undo codes? I'd rather not restart my game.

I wanted to report that 2x FFTA2 US codes don't work.

The "Don't Clear Quicksave Data" option doesn't work. Neither does the "Quests don't Expire" code work.

Turn off the cheat and then buy all of them from the shop. You'll be able to make it again.

Turn off the cheat and then buy all of them from the shop. You'll be able to make it again.
I was using the shop has all items code and ran into the same problem.

I had the cheat turned off. There's 99 in my inventory, and 99 in the shop. I'm unable to destroy the 99 in my inventory (if there is even a way...?), and that means I'm unable to buy the 99 from the shop.

I'm unable to destroy them, unable to throw them away, unable to break them in combat, and unable to do anything I can think of.

I need a code that will get rid of all the items in the shop, along with my inventory, if possible. Like I said, I really do not want to restart my game.

To R4DS Users:
To R4 users and its clones, use either CHEAT.dat or USRCHEAT.dat and not both, using both will cause some codes and games not to show up.

Note:
Good news for all of you who uses the CycloDS. I went through every game and removed the backlight codes for you. On the CycloDS, the backlight codes conflicted with the backlight control built into the CycloDS and caused it to either freeze or not work. Now with them gone, the CycloDS cheat file is now roughly 200-300kbs smaller. Also cleaned up some codes for other games as well for the other flashcards.

Added a code to Final Fantasy Tactics A2: Grimoire of the Rift that should remove all your items (If you used the Have All Items) cheat to fix some problems with recruiting characters. Also all the codes for the German versions of Pokemon Diamond and Pearl are now all in German.

Guitar Hero:
Exciting news folks! I added in some codes for Guitar hero that allows you to play the game without the grip without the need of a patch! Thats right, just take a clean dump of the game and enable the grip codes and you can play the game using just the normal buttons.

Here are the button layouts that are currently supported:
Y = Green, B = Red, A = Yellow, X = Blue

Well, I really don't like posting the same thing twice...but my post has been completely ignored for 3 pages...

I have an R4DS, and I only have CHEAT.DAT on it, but some of the cheats for Animal Crossing: Wild World US version 1.0...

I've tested these cheats on my Action Replay...

Its the Real Time World Edit and Text to Item cheats...anyone know why this is happening?

For one thing, this topic is for the massive cheat database not on how to update your cheat files also I have been a bit busy hence the lack of reply on my part. Well, if you have codes that aren't in the cheat database, post them here (In CODEBOXs) and I'll add them in for you.

At any rate, for the CHEAT.DAT, the file needs to be encrypted so make sure you set the "Encrypt File" setting before saving and make sure you are entering the codes correctly.

hmm Im entering the codes right, because im using copy and paste...but I'd like to report that the Text to Item cheat that is currently in the database doesn't work with my R4...all of the cheats I have tried work, except those 2 that involve the chat...
