@Narin

Sweet on the creation of the scc files - I really look forward to it

I will be available o test them. I check this site as regulalry as I can. I can test the backlight codes on the M3 Real, R4 and the SC DS ONE. If you just wanted to create a sample file for testing purposes for only a few games, say New Super Mario Bros, Crash of the Titans or Final Fantasy III - I can download and test.

More than happy to help

M3 DS Real, 1 Gb Kingston SD card, latest firmware (I believe).

Thanks, I posted this earlier with all the details but no one replied, I'm new to forums in general.

M3REAL only freezes with firmware 3.4 or lower..3.5 and above should have no problem
or post which code you used that freeze the game

Yeah, there may or may not be a patch for it.. It may be one of those codes that just doesn't work

Theres a problem with pokemon diamond (E)
not all the codes show up for when you want to find pokemon in the pokemon modifier folder
im only using the urscheat.dat?
someone help me:/
Do you happen to have an R4? Its a bug in some flashcards so they only show a certain number of cheats per folder and well, theres no way I can fix it, even splitting them into multiple folders rarely ever works. You have to manually dit the cheat files and bring the pokemon you want to catch at the top of the list or se Pokesave.
I have a N5.

So how do i do this? Don't really know how to do all this cheat stuff for pokemon.

The N5 is an R4 clone so it suffers from the same problems as the R4. You either need touse the R4CCE tool to edit the cheat file and edit the cheats for the game or use Pokesav ( http://www.pokesav.org/ )

Narin, I just want to say that I stand here in awe! What you have done with the little cheat.dat project I started is quite amazing. Listing all the games in the dat, changelogs, even getting a special location on GBAtemp to host the files, plus all the extra effort you have gone through to improve everything about the dat......

Dude! You have taken the official GBAtemp cheat dat to epic levels! I humbly bow to your awesomeness!

You make what I did seem puny and insignificant in comparison.

I couldn't have hoped to choose a better person to take over the job! You have definitely exceeded ALL my expectations in EVERY respect.

You have truly earned the title of "Cheat Master". You deserve all the glory for the dat more than I ever did.

Narin. Rock on with your bad self!

Wow, coming from you Rayder is an honor. Even now I look up to you for all the work you have done on the cheat database and all the time you dedicated in it. If it wasn't for you, I wouldn't be here on GBATemp today. I ended up finding GBATemp because of your cheat database through a google search and been a fan since. Even now I consider you a friend and look up to you as sort of a mentor, all the work I have done to the cheat database is basically to honor your dedication in the past.

All the extra stuff I have done is at the request of the people here. Listing all the games, the changelog, hosting it here, ect. While I update the database I keepa text file open of games I added or updated for that update. The changelog also helps me keep track of what changes I made and what day I made them and also lets others know what was recently updated. Listing all the games is helpful as well not only does it show people what games are currently in the database but they also get listed in google search as well.

Now with the hosting, I went through many different hosts until I settled down with what I have now. I ended up starting with MediaFire, then the GBATemp download section (Which was a pain to update daily), then the staff here was kind enough to give me a small section on the site to host the files. Though having it hosted here now is certainly a time saver, I wrote a tiny script that archives all the files for me and then uploads them to GBATemp.

To tell you the truth, I don't consider what you did puny and insignificant in comparison or nor do I believe I deserve more credit to you. You are a legend here Rayder and over many other sites for all the work you have put into the cheat database. Without you, the cheat database wouldn't even exist now. In my eyes, you are a great man who will forever have my respect.

At any rate my friend, how have you been? How has work been going lately? Are they still impressed with your work? Also have you found more free time to your self?

There is, look in the All Character Codes folder, you can get all characters to have a RANK 5 (Max) support ranking.

QUOTE(DeMoN @ Jun 10 2008, 10:26 PM) I love you Narin. Thank you so much for this.

I'm glad you enjoy the cheat database. I aim to make people happy.

I downloaded and unzipped the 06_09_08_All.zip into my TTDS cart and whas wondering what files if any i should probably delete form the cart now, also i activated some cheats for pokemon pearl after enabling cheats for the game and non of them are working for example, full pokedex and item mod codes. does it matter how far i am in the game before activating cheats, i just left rowans lab for the first time?

Well, you might have to get the Pokedex first, but no, it shouldnt matter.. I think there is a thing like, Press Select to activate this code or something.. Other then that, it shouldnt matter!!

You said this list is compatible with the Supercard. But which Supercard, as you said it isn't compatible with the Supercard DS One becuase of multi .scc files. Supercard lite also uses .scc so thats not compatible with it either? Or do you not know because you do not have a Supercard? Anyway, this is a huge cheat list, and I will be waiting for .scc support although i do not care too much.

Thank you very much for this huge list!
