Well, I dont have much to say on the matter.. Not at the moment.. If you want me to explain right now, It would include language beyond imagination.. Trust me.. Thats how annoyed and upset I am..

Narin had the right to do that to help the forum out and if people are jealous that they didnt get 'hand-picked' as some people would say, they need to take a dose of life.. We all contributed in a way that Narin trusted us all.. All our different ways but Narin kept his eye on us.. We werent divine, We werent superior.. We were but a few people trying to make a difference.. And people dont like change, obviously.. The new forum showed peoples true colours, some people I had never seen like that before.. Jealousy or Stupidity?? You take the pick..

We were just trying to help, and as I have said numerous times, we got shat on, and pretty bad too.. I was close to leaving, and still am, if things dont change.. At least I know now that I should never, ever bother to create guides or help people out any more.. Not on this forum.. That is why Elixir and I have our own plans.. And those who stuck by us will have a chance, You'll find out soon enough, Im sure..

GBATemp isnt life, not even close but the way people act over a forum is unbelievable.. The way you treat people because they try to help, well, I find that appauling and that is why I am upset, shamed, disappointed and annoyed..

I wont rant on any longer, or some dick will come in and start saying how i am a sad sack.. Just like in my other post.. At least I know I deserved my position, not like some of you, Some of you are fools, power hungry fools who deserve nothing.. Nothing but shame..

There are a few things that could be done here:

1- give everyone who attacks the coders a temporary or permanent ban. Theirs is nothing but flaming which the TOS says they can't do when they sign up to the site. That's not abusing power. It's the flamers being idiots.

2- close this thread until further notice until everyone cools down. Harsh, but whatever teaches the flamers a lesson.

3- only provide cheats to a select few people by passwording the zip files. Members can ask permission to access the file and the coder or someone he/she trusts can PM the password to them if they are worthy. Password can change every time a new code is out.

even last week we killed a piracy check of a game before the game was offically out!!!

I don't care what you think of it, but it would still be open to the public, just the public that doesn't attack the coders. I wouldn't want to give food to someone who shows disrespect to my efforts to give them food.

At any rate, I was just giving an idea.

Narin and whoever else is free to quit if they wish. I'd like to know what compelled you to think they had some sort of obligation to continue.

In concept #3 is great but things like that never work out well. Leaked passwords almost guaranteed. A major pain coordinating passwords each time there is an update. IP based downloads might be a bit easier however my guess is it would take less then 5 minutes to be leaked (The new update that is).

Truth be told, cheats seem to make people think they're God. I never use them unless a game requires a copy hack to run. But whatever.

And that was all #3 was, a concept. You can't keep the idiots out. But I'm just trying to think how to make their life at least a bit more inconvenient.

In reality, though, that would also create inconvenience to Narin or whoever takes up coding. I really can't blame him for leaving. It's the only true way to keep the idiots unhappy and him better off. I say better off for him even though it's sad to see him leave.

i know i'm probably gunna get flamed for this but i don't think it would take a whole lot of effort to keep it going i mean anyone can take the last update and add the new cheats as they come and it would sort of be the same with people adding in whatever cheats are missing and the cheat code makers can add in their cheats as well and if narin comes back he can take it over again i guess

we are dwelling of the point I guess

-original problem: Narin made a forum and a club => people accused him of abusing his power => Narin felt bad => Narin quit

-actions after narin quit: the flamers feel all bad and most of them are sorry, they say they liked the forum but hated the club

-right now:
*you can lead from that, that we can have our own forum (no club) => WIN
*narin still hasn't returned => VERRY VERRY BIG LOSS

-actions we can do now:
* 1:Wait till Narin gets back (witch he prob will as he is verry forgiving and he was just sick)
2:maintain the tread aslong as he is gone
(witch I see as the best option)

* 1: take over the coding ourselves
2: put a password on the zip's
(witch I think won't last longer then a week)

*quit
(well... I can thell you thats pretty dramatic)

Well my friend, do you honestly know how hard it is? Narin needs to add the codes to several different databases, fix any retarded codes, delete any WiFi codes, while having to deal with the constant annoying requests.

Narin was truly one of a kind, and we need him back.


@polle123: I like your suggestion, but I doubt that continuing Narin's work is the right option.. If we somehow manage to pull this off, Narin will think that we don't need him

ok...Narin,Curley and the others did a killer job doing what they did. I figured that the CCC would've helped the ppl who come here to learn and not rely on Narin,Curley etc... I would've LOVED to have been taught by suck awesome guys like them to not only to stop relying on them but to help out on here as well when their busy with their lifes. you're right...Gbatemp is'nt life....it's a helping tool even tho ppl get butt hurt over stupid crap like "OMG theres no cheats for this game?!?! or to constantly ask and bug the ppl who are helping you have it easier. I don't think so, couse we won't pull it off like Narin did, we'l lfor example have to mediafire, rapidshare,.. everything as we don't have acces to the official one
and we won't be as effective as narin, its more going to be like wath curley and I did some time ago when Narin wasn't responding for a couple of days

I wonder though, is it fair to keep updating Narin's own compilation? It's his work and he got burned over it. I wouldn't do anything to alter it unless we had his permission.

And then we've got the problem of piracy protection. I don't know if anyone can handle cracking it as well as Narin.

polle, I suggested the same thing as you to Curley, and he said what I just told you..

I don't know, this is not my decision to make. I actually think it's Curley's decision, as he is the "Vice Cheat Code Editor", and he also knows how to update to Narin's database.

Perhaps we should just lock this thread until Curley reveals his plan.
