oh ok, I see. Well, should I be surprised? I mean, all the consoles I owned were used and old gen. When I first had my PS1, PS2 already launched a few years before. The first console I bought brand new were the 3DS and the Wii U

You're good. It's one of those "Did You Know" kind of facts, since it was over 20 years ago. Many people probably can't envision a Sony controller without the dual sticks.

I'm old enough that I got to experience the before and after, and some games wouldn't work unless you hit the Analog button on the controller.
