Mmmh, yea no... I mean, the economical context back then was not the same as today. If a kid gets a ps5 today, i can easily understand the "spoiled kid" thing since ps5 are hard to get.
I had a Gameboy when I was 8. But a Gameboy for a working class family back then was way more in reach than a PSP when it came out, and honestly, both much more in reach than an iPhone ever was.
