Help! I tried installing M3Sakura and right after I selected it and pressed A while it was loading, it displayed the following message:

M3Sakura firmware Version 1.45
December 28 2009 21:38:50 GMT +09:00
Not Ext Memory

Quick DiskCheck initiated

Checking for duplicate clusters & fragments progress....5% 257 files

After a few seconds, the whole process froze

Does anyone have an idea of what I should do to get this working? Thanks in advance :-).

MicroSD card:
Backup your files.
Format your microSD card.
Return your files to microsd...
...enjoy

If formatting doesn't work, try this.

Even if you format the card and copy your files back on, DiskCheck can still freeze. That's because corrupt files on your card can cause the freeze. So if you're just copying the same files back on without removing the corrupt file, you're not really fixing the problem.

Also, sometimes windows diskcheck (or fsck/Gparted on linux) can solve some errors in the filesystem, and you wont have to reformat or disable sakura's diskcheck... though you should always backup your saves (and other stuff you cannot get elsewhere) and then format the microsd, to avoid weird errors.

i was wondering if the M3 sakura works with the M3 DS Simply

that's the card i have... but i don't even think there's any recent firmware that works with it..

Is there any way to change the M3 Sakura logo screen that comes up when you start the DS? Thanks for your input :-)
If you're talking about the Pink-screened animation - I don't think it's possible as IIRC it's part of the actual firmware

Problem playing dpg files
================
DSi. Firmware 1.4E (it says)
Sakura - version of today (4374-M3_Sakura_1.45X_3rd_TouchPod_4.7cX.rar)
M3 Zero. 2Gb microSD card.
Problem: Sakura freezes when trying to play dpg files (even very small, e.g. 17Mb)
Touchpad plays them flawlessly.

The freeze is at the pink "video" control panel. The film length is shown correctly and the dpg filename is OK at the bottom. But no control works and one has to switch off the DSi.

BTW: I have had very little success in making dpg files from home videos. dpgenc and SuperC crash/hang. The only thing that worked was the commercial DPGconverter (evaluation version so far, but I'm tempted as doing something I told my daughter would take 20 mins has now extended to about 50 hours!). Any DETAILS would be most welome.

Hi all, I updated the touchpod from linfoxdomain and now Bookworm works... but i gotta ask...
Do we know when is the SAKURA firmware going to be upgraded too, the touchpod is horrifically s-l-o-w

Is there any possibility of a dual boot combo again?

Sakura is usually updated within several days of the TouchPod update. It can be anywhere from a few days to a couple weeks.

Well for the past few weeks the Sakura update and Touchpad updates were at the same time. I am willing bet Sakura has updated, but I can't check since the site is down
