YSM3 taking out the boot time... it doesnt give fps break like in m3 sakura or r4i rts...

The issue with R4i RTS and Sakura is because they haven't been updated since those are updated by the M3 Team.
Where as YSM3 is updated by Retrogamefan, who updates regularly and then I use his files in my system

thats what i though... specially ysm3... can it even do anything more then booting games? atleast its a 100% firmware in games xD

btw what is the DMA thing? i didnt know, so i didnt explained it.. xD i heard its like an Anti - AP Measure built in DSTT?

It just boots games, that's it.
And DMA mode uses the full use of the hardware if I remember correctly. It does not have anything to do with AP's

oooooh so thats it!!! i hope i can help more for this great thread, it helped me a lot... before i only used m3 sakura and touchpod... and i never had any complaints... i mainly used sakura so touch pod was not a problem, plus you said touch pod was off this version... but i can boot into it... o.O

I can't delete the boot for Touchpod since it's the core to Sakura, so you can still boot into it, but you can't boot the games since I deleted the menu.

Which is the reason I removed it. It's ugly, slow, and has the same compatibility as Sakura, so there was no need for it anymore.

thats true... i prefer having 4 firmwares then 2 that do the same... anyways is it possible to edit the skins that came with the other 3 firmwares? i wanna make custom skins xD and maybe release them

M3 Wood uses the Acekard themes, which you can get here and here
YSmenu and R4 Skins here

Yeah that can work and ds skin maker does sometimes screw up with YSMenu, so make sure you back up your theme before doing anything

I got an M3i Zero GMP-Z003 today and I can't get the quad boot to work. It boots Sakrua fine, but won't load any games or any of the other loaders. I either get 2 white screens or the top screen goes black and the bottom screen still shows the Sakura menu.

The M3i Zero seems ok when I use the official Sakura, but some games like the latest Prof Layton don't work on it, so I wanted to use Wood or Ys.
Any ideas?

Nope, each one has it's own place for skins.

Throw the M3i Zero GMP-Z003 away and buy a better flashcard. Sadly this nor any other alternate firmware will work on it. M3 Team spent months making that card just to lock out my firmware because they don't like alternate firmwares, so they made a half assed card that has been proven to be totally broken.
Might I suggest you invest in a better flashcard like an R4i Gold so you can use Wood or even an Acekard 2i, hell if you are feeling up to it, buy a Supercard Two. You are better off just avoiding M3 cards.

true, the new GMP-Z003 Cards just suck, i have an old m3i zero and it never failed for me, im looking to get a new card because i own a DSi and a Ds Phat, and in order for my brother to play he will need another flash cart... so im thinking about ak2i because that way, if i need anything to work on my dsi i can just use ak2i and my brother use my m3i zero xP
