I signed up a while back, dunno if anyone else did. As the quote states it's a LoZ mosaic made up of the 25,000 fans that signed up to be in it on Nintendo's facebook page.

Still, this is a really amazing feat, it must've taken a whole lot of time and effort (although I'm sad they used a right handed Link, prolly from the wii games, I miss the real Link).

I don't think they had a choice, they were receiving 25,000 random portraits.

I never really cared for mosaics like these, where they can just tint any of the photos they use or probably just had a program do it automatically with a folder of pictures.

Good mosaics use unmodified photographs and fewer of them.
