did you forget the wii64_rice ini in V10?

Edit: Why am i so bad at reading things? Obviously it says the files are different @_@ ugh. Sorry. But uh, the difference is an important question: i thought we were intending to have separate ROM folders for wii64_rice because of the compatibility issues with N64 emulation?

I must reiterate once more, if i haven't already (coulda sworn i have before), but you do not need prboom.wad in \roms\doom\doom1 or \roms\doom\doom2. It just adds junk files to the coverflow under DOS. the WADs that get transferred in the installation process are sufficient.

Edit: Also where did Mame Core F go?
Double Edit: It didn't go anywhere you just removed an unnecessary one. Cool.

@NormalMisha

Are you using SMSPlus from the plugins pack?
Looking back it is version RA 1.10.2 which i no longer have on my SD, but can assure you 1.10.3 save and load are fully functional.

As for being the best SMS plugin, RA GearSystem could be when it becomes more stable, or Original RA GenPlusGX could be when it becomes playable again in newer releases. SMSPlus in my testing is imo currently the best in terms of overall functionality and stability with newer RA releases providing independent configuration.

Having many emulator/core options to choose from provides us end users to use what is Best for our personal taste.

V10 Plugins Pack will be released later this evening, so i urge you to give SMSPlus another try and maybe your experience will be different.
Yes I'm using the V9 plugins pack unmolested. I didn't realise that SMSPlus was even still being updated TBH. I'll give it another go sometime. Thanks for this plugins pack BTW. Much appreciated.

Yes, there are other .ini- named like this because the cores have been dropped from the pack. I put the dash behind these so the ini would not show up in the list and if they are re-included to the pack, i wont have to create the ini again.
Well, well. Renaming files. Produces another entry in my Git repository.

So, i noticed in platform.ini that there is support for CD box cases for MSU1 SNES games. I went ahead and set that up, made a copy of the SNES9xGX plugin. So SUPERNES_MSU1 links with the SUPERNES database but has "cd_case" as its flow type. I also made sure the ROMs directory for the MSU1 plugin was separate from my SNES ROMs, and then went ahead and added both plugins to the SNES coverflow button.

I'm realizing something weird happens when i did this: instead of showing both SNES and CD jewel cases alongside each other, it defaulted to some other box format and moreoever, isn't pulling the background image from SUPERNES, likely because of the conflict. I suspect it's trying to find a SUPERNES_MSU1.png as well as SUPERNES.png, and... even though one of those doesn't exist, it's defaulting to just the basic background with no "SNES" logo in the upper left.

Is there any way to combine coverflow box styles at all?

The "Combined" Coverflow (no console-specific background, and coverflow looks BAD for both SNES and MSU1 games)

You can't combine different box sizes so wiiflow defaults to the wii boxes. And your first magic number is probably the msu1 CD which probably doesn't have a background image.

Well, well. Renaming files. Produces another entry in my Git repository.
Or we could never update. The time it takes to test and update to to keep this pack current and representable surely has no measure to your Git project. Hey, do me a favor and link me to your repository, i am very curious how these entries are jamming you up so badly.

Do you think it will ever be possible to combine different box sizes? I do realize the MSU1 doesn't have its own background. TBH i just want MSU1 and SNES boxes to live next to each other but i also understand if that's just impossibl to do.

I have posted many times, input is appreciated and needed. But the reality is, almost all testing is done by myself along with @matto21

For all intents and purposes, i have completely changed my pack structure to coincide with Tetsuo pack structure.

The end result is what the pack is now, and is not going to change as long as i am maintaining.

Without me being a jerk, please remember complaining about garbage is a bad deal in every way. Lets stop complaining about garbage please.

I'm dumbfounded. I've just found a bug in Wii64's controller input handling. Using a Classic Controller (which surely loads of people use), if you press d-pad right, it registers both d-pad right and right stick-up. This is nothing to do with controller configuration in the Wii64 settings screen - it's lower level. I've even found talk of it on the WiiBrew page:
https://wiibrew.org/wiki/Talk:Wii64

Classic Controller

This is really cool! I've never played N64 games before. Anyway, I'm using the Classic Controller. Pressing "Right" on the d-pad (not the analog stick) always seems to activate two things at once.... In Super Mario 64 it both zooms the camera and rotates the camera to rhe right. In Rampage World Tour it both moves to the right and makes the monster kick. In Carmageddon it both activates a powerup and zooms the camera.... (EDIT: Ah, the trainer in the WWF game tells me that when I press Right on the d-pad, it's pressing Right + all the directional buttons at the same time). Also, how about having the Home button on the Classic Controller acess the menu (like in every other wii game :P ) instead of the weird y + x combo....

People here seem to be using Wii64. Is there a fixed version that I don't know about? I don't understand how such a fundamental and game-breaking bug has presumably existed for a while. The annoying thing is that it would probably be a relatively easy code fix. Somebody must have just made a typo, copy and paste error or messed up some bit-field stuff. Unless it is a bug in a shared IO library, so any code using that IO library is potentially broken.

I noticed this in WWF No Mercy (which runs poorly on Not64 due to sound delay but great on Wii64). If you load that ROM and go into its in-game controller configuration screen, you will see that if you try to assign d-pad right to an action, what will actually be assigned to that action is right stick-up.

So is it the case that you guys don't really play many N64 games on Wii64?

I've seen people complaining about something similar here:
