At this point they'd have to do one of two tings. Drop the price or make it way better than the SCDS2 if they want to sell any of these. If they were smart they'd give it perfect GBA emulation and use that as a selling point but when has a clone card ever done anything cool like that?

So has anyone tried the movie player from the ex4i's website on the DSTwo?
The Ex4DS's download links dont work yet so you cannot test on the DSTwo. Great idea if it could be tested but doubtful it would work.

Has anyone actually pre-ordered the EX4i?
You must feel like the people who preordered Duke Nukem Forever

I wonder. Sure this card may be good and all (Gba emulation near perfection and so on...), but i don't think they will be able to keep constant updates like the Supercard team does. Just wondering...

Pharoah, a while ago you said your EX4i sample was coming in the mail... I'm going to guess it never came to you?

I don't see the point of this thing. It's not better than the SCDS2. It's not cheaper.

BUT is it is CHEAPLY MANUFACTURED

Is that a question or a statement? One too many is's I think.
its a statement

still we don't have an idea if the card is manufactured cheaply ontil it is EVER released :3

looks like they are having problems like the dstwo
but their website is working.....i still dont understand where the ex4i is
i think the gba emulator will be better but time will tell how it is

if you look on their website
they have the firmware released
they released the firmware on may 1st
wonder what happened

not posting link because i just found out that ex4i website has rom links (THEY ARE DUMB)

i think thats what stoped their production

I think people are just comparing these things:

EX4i:

> Rumor of it might being a clone of iplayer hardware with ability to play roms.

> Cheap looking packaging (questionable?).

> Movie player that can play all formats of video (correct me if i'm wrong).

> Rumor of near perfect emulation of GBA.

> E-Book reader?

> I forget but was there any mention of RTS, RTC, RTG?

DSTwo:

> RTS, RTC, RTG.

> Constant firmware updates so far.

> Multi Save slots.

> GBA Emulator with constant updates.

> Copy, paste, cut, delete.

> SNES Emulator (Soon to be released).

> E-Book (Soon to be released).

> Movie player (Soon to be released).

I guess it is unfair to be comparing the EX4i to the DSTwo since it isn't even finished yet. Also please don't flame me if I missed some features for either of the cards I was just trying to reply to zeromac's post.
