Not if you have an extra copy of XP sitting around, and then NLITE it (remove all the crap from it). Got my XP install to only 300MB (of course, with compression, no page file, and no system restore)
BTW I got a 4GB Black 700 with XP Pro on it with 2GB of RAM and a 4GB SDHC card.
I am thinking about the 20GB EEEPC 900 when it comes out. (16GB version has XP on it, which the 20GB version has linux)
