you don't delete anything, you just remove the '#' before AUTOBOOT to activate the autoboot feature and you change the value to SYSMENU or HBC depending on what you want to autoboot to.

seriously, this is SO easy to understand, you should probably not bother installing this if you can't

anyway, best guide ever, where do I donate ?

To be honest that does not really get rid of the BootMii startup screen. It starts up for like 5 seconds and then goes to the System Menu automatically. So, there's no way to get rid of the BootMii splash screen every time you start up your Wii?
To be honest, i think you should keep it like that since if you want to boot to HBC in like 3 seconds.

QUOTE
Q: Why won’t my wiimote sync in the BootMii menu?
A: Due to architectural limitations, we can’t access the WiiMote. Use a GC controller or the Power/Reset buttons.

anybody notice he told the guy that reformatting his sd card everything will be saved?
ARE U KIDDING why would u tell someone that

When you have to reformat for NAND Backup do you lose everything already on the SD?
@TrickyTony: 1. It should restore Everything. 2. Its just quick Get-To thing.

It will NOT restore everything

Please vidgirl give us more please!!!!!! can u tell us how to play xbox360 games on the wii, wheres your guide for it

How does one actually boot a *.dol/*.elf from the SD card? I've reformatted my Wii and updated to 4.0 after having Bootmii installed previously. Now I need to launch the Bootmii installer again to install the HBC, though I can't get anything to show up in the launch-from-SD menu. I've tried putting a boot.dol/boot.elf in the root of the SD card and also in the Bootmii folder, but nothing.

EDIT: Hrmm... seems that you can't boot normal homebrew from that launcher, but only homebrew written for mini.

I ran bootmii today (as an IOS) and had left the room as it was running. When I came back, said the following:

f_lseek(4090) failed: 2
etc
etc
etc
until f_lseek (4095) failed: 2

but then it said verify succeeded, and all the blocks were green.

Has anyone run into this before? What does it mean?

Q. No Seriously, What is BootMii?
A. BootMii is a replacement of the "boot2" file on your Wii and you have probably heard of a thing called "Preloader" witch is similar.
Fix the spelling for the love of god... WITCH is the evil lady that rides around on a broom, WHICH is the spelling that you need... Also, if you want your guide to be taken seriously (good luck) then take out the swearing. It's not offensive at all, its just childish and unprofessional...

QUOTE(Vidboy10 @ May 13 2009, 10:38 PM) If you want to know more about BootMii Click here:
Your link is fail, please fix it. The proper link is http://bootmii.org/faq/ or http://wiibrew.org/wiki/BootMii

BTW, I'm only half sarcastic here. I'm glad that someone is trying to help the community here, I really truly am! But you should have done much more research before attempting a guide on this. Again, good luck.

Guys, Guys, This topic is OLD.
I haven't been interested in the Wii Hacking situation in over a month.
I'm taking a break from Wii Hacking and exploring more of GBATemp.

@Midnightzak: Woah watch your sarcasm man, i thought you were serious for a sec.
@TRushInfo: Dude, your trolling fails. Seriously, if your serious your just being immature.

Oh yeah, i added BootMii's FAQ on the Q&A since it's much better then mine.
