Apple Text messge sent using email?

i dont know why whenever I send a text measege, the other person who gets my text see's the sender as my email. not my actual number why? why does it always show my email.

You could write a whole book about how Smart Phones do Stupid Things. I'm pretty sure it's an option in the phone's settings to send the Caller/Sender ID as your E-Mail adress and it can surely be disabled. It'd be easier to determine the cause if you gave us the model of your...

Does it happen with everyone or only one person? Maybe they got your contact messed up and they have your name as an email.

It's not iMessage, is it?

Using an iPhone would still show the phone number, I think, but it's still worth checking, because for iOS devices without a number it will use the email address as contact information.
