Homebrew Text editor for the DS ??

OK - silly question but although there's a lot of 'text READERS' avaliable, I've not seen many 'text EDITORS'

The only ones I've seen are those 'supplied' with DSOrganise or with Moonshell, but what I would like is a small simple text editor which could also be used as a 'plugin' on the DSTwo flashcard

While I was on holiday I thought I'd do a text 'diary' of it & use it for my Blog, but when I used the DSOrganise editor - it 'made' a txt file that didn't work (it not seen) with Moonshell (Although Moonshell editor text was seen by DSOrganise)

I was wondering if such a thing exists, perhaps even one that allowed 'tags' (similar to GBATemp bold / italic / spolier tags) to be inserted before/after highlight text

Any suggestions anyone ????
