Cause there was two buttons saying "Cost" with a symbol that looks like a currency symbol, and the Charge button on the reply text box shows a tag with a dollar sign.

Kinda obvious it's a little fun virtual currency.

It definitely won't, it's most probably going to be from posting (each post gives you a small amount of it) or something like that. However, considering how people now can lock stuff behind paying with the currency, this reminds me of what was happening with the NN repeal drivel

It will be something for sure, but fun I doubt... it's gonna be so and so, but at least it has potential to make or break a forum (speaking from experience with other forums that implemented it)
