I don't understand. Would you please structurally rewrite your post? I barely understand anything of it.

Also, you should ALWAYS use the SELECT button to exit the inventory editor, or else bad things will happen.

Also, that keycombo is L+R+DOWN+B
Sorry..... I'm on my iPhone typing.

Right. To start:

I placed the .3dsx in the correct file location on my SD card.
Booted into my EmuNand on my 3ds, then into homebrew launcher.

Launched Hans. Selected the target terraria.

The game launched as it should. After messing around In game. Collecting items etc.

I paused the game. So I could boot into the inventory editor.

I understood the button combo to be "down + B", but as you've corrected me its "L+R+Down+B".

I've tried the button combo you provided. It still doesn't boot back into the homebrew launcher.

Any ideas?

What you mean by non existent item?

I's meant to be literally meant :P You can hack in items that don't even exist in the game's code. I wouldn't recommend it though, because in previous versions of Terraria it simply just crashes the game.

Lol, the video is just for demonstration purposes :P Sorry. Also, you don't need to use HANS, it's just faster this way. I'll just write here how to use this, and I'll copy it to the front page. Also, the inventory editor looks different from the one on the video, so I should update that as well.

Usage:
  1. Save and exit Terraria
  2. Open the inventory editor
  3. Edit stuff
  4. On the inventory interface hold down START, and touch the screen to save the inventory contents
  5. Exit with SELECT!
  6. Load up Terraria
  7. ???
  8. Have fun with the hacked-in items

Would I have to install the .CIA version? or is the .3ds version ok?

ok. I fixed it.

i dont think there is an error on your side. Its most likely down to my incompetence.

I realised I needed EU version .Cia and not the .3ds.

Maybe a step by step for the stupid people out there (ie. ME!!)

i would be more than happy to report bugs if there is any.. doubtful though :)

Damn, I forgot about Goatway/Ground3DS! Good catch :D I'll try to add that in the next release.

I'm not using the smdh file, and it works for me. Did you save the file as "/3ds/TerraInveditThreedee.3dsx"? This shouldn't be in an extra directory, the 3dsx file should be placed driectly in the "/3ds" folder.

Oh well that make a tone more easyer

Yay, update!

Update to version v0.0_C8! Da' haxorz security update!
  • Added .cia build for haxorzous people
  • Added new application icon (thanks @HappyzLife!)
  • Updated filesystem code, now you can exit whenever you want :P Yes, even without SELECT :rofl2:
awesome update!
cia work perfectly and quitting with select is really great (insta home menu!)
