    Hello there.

I have been problems with connecting my switch to Tegra.

I have been using tinfoil to put the switch into rcm mode. Any ideas?
    Thanks.

The only tinfoil you should use is the homebrew app, not a piece of scrap to put your Switch in RCM. Get yourself a jig, or mod your joycon, or something. Don't be in a rush. No need to risk breaking your Switch with stupid ways to enter RCM.

Put it in autorcm and stop damaging your Switch's contacts.

Except foil doesn't break your switch, it's a perfectly valid way to enter RCM as long as you're careful. which, honestly, should be a rule for every method of entering RCM.

Stop using the GUI, it's been reported to give nothing but problems for users. Use TegraRCMSmash instead(The non GUI version). Another thing you might want to check is your USB cable, make sure it's working and it's not damaged, i've had issues myself because either my cable or my USB C adapter aren't in top working order and that makes it hard to connect the switch to the PC
