I don't know if anyone has posted or seen this Team Xecuter have release a new video

  • FULL Homebrew Support
  • 5.1.0 Support
  • Auto RCM install/uninstall
  • Backup Games Menu

well the 2 new things were showing it running on 5.1 which was nice and the loading menu, but ok.
If you are somewhat interested in CFW scene on Switch, this is nothing new (because you would know that every FW is supported and they already told us about the menu).

XP Bonus baiting ahoy, level up here we go! “honestly I never knew a thread had been opened up about this information yesterday, really!” “newcomer status baiting hard since 5th June 2018, struggling for reputation marks on GBATemp”

Without Emunand = no buy from me

I would prefer to dont need an external tool for booting in CFW everytime. I am at 3.00, i dont want to update.

Regards

Micha

Actually this really does look good if it works as intended.

Would be interesting if their AutoRCM method allows Sleep mode.

AutoRCM is independent on sleep mode (at least I think)

You don't have to tho. You can stay on 3.0.0 :P

So, uh, let's say I am on 3.0.0, and get the TX OS.

I boot into it with the jig and the payload tethered.

If I want to play a dump of a game that requires >3.0.0 (say Mario oddysey for example), will I be prompted to update? Because this is really a deal breaker.

Womp womp
You didn't read the faq
You can't play games if your switch isn't on the required fw

And that is the reason why i wont buy it. If they get emunand running, i am eager to give them my money, otherwise i just go with Atmosphere :-)

Yes.

Yes, currently you will need to update.

but in Atmosphere it will be same.......console not on gamesupported FW .....no play

Atmosphere will let you load whatever firmware you want from SD card, but probably won't have xci loading for a while. You'll probably be able to install the digital releases onto the SD card though.
