could not install app.
raw error:0xc8a0802b
summary:invalid state
description:database does not exist

any ideas?

trying to update my 2ds to 9.2 to coldboot into emuNAND

I have FBI. installed into health and safety. I'm using DEV Mode with Nightly build

First, you are missing some files because you have never installed a game in your 3DS system nand before so the database doesn't exist.

With your computer create a folder named dbs, then create 2 empty text files, rename them as title.db and import.db (ignore the warning that your computer gives you about format changing) and put them in that folder, put that folder in your SD card, it should look like Nintendo 3DS/<id0>/<id1>/dbs

The directory you end up putting your "dbs" folder should also have an "extdata" folder. You may have two sets of these <id0> <id1> folders if your nands are unlinked so you should put them where they are missing naturally.

Once all these files are in the right place just go to System Settings -> Data Management -> Nintendo 3DS -> Software and let it repair the files (it will tell you that the files are corrupted and you have to delete them) CIA installation should work after this.

A lot of asshole on this forum. You guys contribute nothing and leech off the good members.

I did use Google if you must know.

I call BS on that, sorry but I copied and pasted the error into google, first link is a reddit link with the answer.

FBI database does not exist , brings up the answer in multiple locations too

Last edited by wiiando,
I actually googled the "raw" error and the first hit was gbatemp. Next I added more text in the google search box, I added "sysupdater". it brought up this thread but the 2nd gbatemp link has a post that points to what seems to be the solution.

That is how I google search btw...

Why wouldn't you google the FBI error description?
