d'oh that should've been obvious. xD for some reason the NOT didnt register at all
 
Battery life seems the same to me on Firmware 2.01-U3. In fact, it might be longer. I cleared the Shadow Temple, Gerudo Fortress, and the child part of the Spirit Temple in Ocarina of Time Master Quest 3D, and yet the battery meter is still at 3 bars. This was on full brightness without power saving mode on, though OoT locks out Wi-Fi. Perhaps it affected the power usage of the Wi-Fi?
 
I can usually get more battery life out of OoT 3D. As for using wifi, it doesn't like me. I need to buy a different battery.
