Just wondering what happens if you try to perform a system transfer between two emunands or if anyone has tried it. Particularly curious about what would happen if you backed up the emunand on the source console and restored after the transfer, would you then have two consoles with the same NNID?

Regarding your NNID question, no they cannot exist on the same console at the same time, it's either one or the other.
