Hacking System menu won't load after installing USB shortcut channels!

So I installed a couple of custom USB shortcut channels to my wii using the wad manager, and after returning to the main menu, and using the minus button to go to the page with four of them, my Wii froze. Now, when I start up, it goes to the health and warning screen, but when I press "A", it plays a sound from the system menu startup, and stays at a black screen. No further response.

Is there a way to jump directly to data management screen, without stopping at the Wii channel menu, can I format the Wii without going into the software, or did I completely brick myself here?

Please help! I have friends coming into town today, and they wanted to play!

I think I have bootmii. I have the homebrew channel, and I'm pretty sure I popped bootmii on there.

when you installed HBC you installed bootmii aswell?as IOS or boot2?also check your sd card if you got a folder called "bootmii" if you got it insert the sd in the wii and open it

Nope. No bootmii folder on the sd card. It might be in IOS, tho.

formatting doesn't do a thing(At all,especially since you can't access SM anyway)since you didn't even care to make a backup or put preloader your pretty much stumped,bring it back to the store you got it,or Nintendo even.you could try the maintenance mode thing read it before here's a quote from the complete softmod guide

Maintenance mode is a secret mode that is build-in to every Wii console. Noone knows the real use of it, but sometimes, it seems to be accessible on a bricked Wii. This is why we recommend trying it before trying another method.

Required:
* Wii with working Health screen

Guide:
1. Turn on the Wii and you will see the Health Screen. Now instead of pressing A, hold + and -, then press A. (keep holding till the screen changes!)
2. If you did it correctly (and your Wii isn't bricked enough to ruin it), you will see a message on the screen saying the Wii is in Maintenance Mode.
3. This mode allows you to do everything except using the Wii message board, so make use of that to backup saves or to run the HBC!

No such luck. Maybe using Zantzue's Anti-brick Disc? If I can get into the homebrew channel, I can remove all the wads that screwed it up with Wad manager, right?

nope,you need a modchip to forward you to load the disc,as i said,unless you can get into HBC,bring it back to the store you got it from,or Ninty(say to them that the 4.2 update made your wii unusable)-final words,nothing more to say here

So, there's nothing I can do short of getting a modchip. I just need to jump to the HBC. But there's no way to do that?

Hmm. Sounds like it could work. I even have the crappy third party controller that you can press all 4 d-pad buttons at the same time on.

you could checkout some unbricking methods here: http://sites.google.com/site/completesg/unbricking...but stil you need bootmii boot2 or priiloader if you have bootmii ios to recover.
