Is there a version of Starfall that keeps the health screen and sound? And will this work if I already have CIOSCORP installed?

@david. thats not the point. the point is you made a guide for something you had nothing to do with and no permission to make, after we just had someone else do it and pull his guide for the same reason. Those who were invloved with this (specifically wii) had the right to decide when a tutorial was ready for prime time, and the right to be the ones to make the tutorial. So now we will have this thread fall back pages while everyone has to focus on answering noobs ?'s in your tutorial thread.

When installing starfall you can choose which patches you would like applied, so you can choose not to have the health menu patched away.

Alright, that takes care of that BUT the most important part is the fact I have this new menu installed, there's no chance of a brick right?

ok what is the advantages of this if it is no faster then the backuploader sry i am new to the HB screen
ok i can see that it is nice to have pic and sound from the disk but if it is still same speed as the backuploader

The out of region is not fixed with Starfall or preloader, just lettin you know...!!!

@MrBubbles: I really think you shouldn't be messing around with this, really..!!

I know it's not, but he thinks he knows what hes talking about so i just let him go without correcting everything. He'll learn just like the last guy.

We never wanted to write a Tut, because it is extremely dangerous, and if you really don't know what you're are doing, and just are following other's tut, you can have an error and then you wouldn't know what to do next, I think WiiBlaster should really take out the files from the link, and then I personally will post a tut from the beginin since the extraction of your own files from your own Wii, and then repacking them and installing them, if you know how to extract and repack, then you should be able to install without error, and guessing by the kind of questions all the people is making, I can say that less that the 50% a people is going to try this...!!!

I read the whole thread, and made my guide out of what other people said and my own experience. I'm not saying that I'm an expert or anything. For people who know what they're doing my guide is almost brickage free.

yep exactly, so, you should post too, IF YOU ARE A NOOB DO NOT EVEN ATTEMP TO CONTINUE READING THIS THREAD, GET OUT AND CARRY ON WITH WHAT YOU BEEN DOING BEFORE

Okay. Thanks!

But I have some other questions.

What would cause such an error?

and what could I do to overcome an error in installing cIOSes
If you have half upgraded and then overwrite cios 30 which is a vital part of the menu, you will get bricked.

For the love of GOD and all that is HOLY!!!! Stop answering people's questoins. You don't know what you are talking about and just spreading false information!!!!!!!!!!!

All the CIOS does is allows games/applications that use that IOS to run from backups. The system menu uses IOS30 and is required so that the games will display in the disc channel. If you don't install the other CIOS', it means that backups that use that IOS will not run. By patching the DIP to all IOS making them into CIOS you have made all the IOS that games use CIOS.

So to summate: If you were to only install CIOS30 then your Same Region (not decrypted) backups will show up in the disc channel but not run. They won't run becaue the IOS they need to run at that point is not an IOS with the Dip module. Note that Out of Region and Decrypted backups can still be run with Gamma or SoftChip.

You do know that that was over 7 hours ago right? Anyways I was just passing on what I heard in the earlier posts.
