Hacking system files are corrupt error on 4.2U

hi all,

i have updated my wii from 3.2U to 4.2U with safe updater and according to the guide in the forum with all IOS and trucha sign.
i have bootmii installed and back up my nand on 3.2U.

everything is work fine, however when i play some games like rabbid tv party or need for speed nitro and etc. after returning back to the wii menu i get an error that the system files are corrupted.
usually i can return to wii menu after rebooting but some times it takes few tries.

anyone know what is the reason, should i go down to 4.1U?

i will appreciate your help.

i did everything that in the guide... i put trucha sign and load all ios including the ios70 free the bag...
but some games give me this error...

u installed Preloader didn't u?

upgrade to priiloader and this should solve your problem

if u choose to stay on the older version of preloader, u need to install a patched IOS70, but it must have the trucha bug AND the ES_Identify patch

i didnt install any preloader
i have bootmii on boot2 so i dont need priiloader

i install already a patched IOS70 but without any help.

im on 4.1U and get the same problem once and a while...but i did notice it did happen after i played NFS:Nitro also....only thing i can do is restart a couple of times till it lets me back to the menu...it would be great if anyone knew what causes this

reinstall system menu and see if it helps

i did reinstall everything last night and did it according to the modify to 4.2 guide.
and checked need for speed and it works...

i will try tonight to check other problematic games to see if it solve the problem.

hi All,

the problem reapear after few days.

i think that i know where the problem is. i think there is a bug in one of the IOS that if you try to load a disc with BCA issue, and the disc wont load (For example NMSB), with D2CKEY, then afterward you get the problem...

anyone knows about this issue?

Are you still using the 'safe' updater? You should just install official system menu 4.2 and then re-hack it with the BootMii installer w/ bannerbomb or Smash Stack.

last time i used the "modify to 4.2" GUIDE, which i install each IOS seperatly.

the problem disapear for few days and now return, after i put the NSMB disc in the wii.

and now when i put need for speed the problem returned.

did the NSMB disc asked you to update?
edit: i was asking you this because most probably you don't have any hacks to block disc updates for you mentioned you did not install priiloader.

Can we brick our wii's playing thos games? because it takes 5-6 minutes to me to restart it and always restart but I'm afraid a little bit

all my games are without updates... since i block them before.

for some reason if i delete everything that appear on the SD manu, the problem is disapear, but i dont know for how long it will disapear.

got the same error, when i c the startup screen and press A i get into the menu after app. 5 time trying.

is there any way to scan memory? I'm sure reinstalling a previous nand will not help anything but i will try anyway

solved,

restoring to latest nand via bootmii did the trick so far no problems i will report if they do occur

i still wonder what i did wrong to get this error. messed around with monster hunter tri that still doesn't work and installed tenchu witch works flawlessly.
now i'm on cIOS38 rev 17
