Hello everyone, I'm new to this world and I would like to understand a little better..
I updated everything to fw 20.0.1 & AMS 1.9.0 without encountering any problems.
I only have three questions:

- What is the difference between Sys-Patch and Sigpatches?

- Which one do you recommend me to use?

Another question is:

- I have seen many "hekate_ipl.ini" with different parameters, I would like to know which one I should use..

Thanks in advance to those who will give me clarifications regarding my questions! :hrth:

I can't give you a technical differences (although I'd like to know them myself as well as a matter of fact) but, as far as the end user is concerned, they are pretty much the same nowadays. If I remember correctly, sigpatches didn't have nim prodinfo crash fix included for a while but, from what I can see, they do have it in one of the latest versions. So, pretty much the same thing nowadays, yeah. Again, I can't tell you the technical differences.

I personally use sys-patch, mainly because it has less files to maintain and introduces less clutter on my SD card. Plus, I can check the logs via Tesla menu to see if everything's working properly (not sure how or if it's possible to do so with the sigpatches). Also, sys-patch requires less frequent updates from what I've seen.

Thanks for your clarification, you were very explanatory! I think at this point I will also rely on Syspatch..
One last thing, I can't understand these two values:

kip1patch=nosigchk
atmosphere=1

Do I need them with Syspatch or are they only for those who use sigpatches?
thanks in advance!
