Hello,

Hope someone can help me! I've just tried to access sysnand on Hekate but I can't find it. When I go to Launch, the only thing that shows is Atmosphere CFW.

I had a patched Switch with SX on it and had no problems. In installing the followed a guide to create an emunand and keep the sysnand clean. Not 100% sure but I seem to remember having used Sysnand once or twice so I think that was all fine.

I recently switched to Atmosphere and have only used emunand since. Today for the first time I have tried to access sysnand but it doesn't come up anywhere in Hekate so I'm not sure what's happened. Is it possible I did something wrong in switching to Atmosphere?

I think I have a couple of backup folders I made in the switch to Atmosphere if that's any help.

I tried taking out the SD and turning on Switch and all that comes up is a screen that says BOOT.DAT?

I'm really not too sure about how lots of this works, I basically just followed guides, so apologies if this is really basic.

Thanks!

In the hekate home select reboot and then ofw. That will reboot you to sysnand without cfw.

First and most important, never remove the SD card. It's pretty easy to damage the port and if that happens, say goodbye to your gaming.
That said, you never configured the ipl file the right way, you moved the configuration to "More configs" and/or you touched something you shouldn't.
In any case, I recomend you to download this file and extract what's inside in the bootloader folder that's on the root of your SD card. Then reboot.

Wow, so @HBubli, you're right, I rebooted into OFW and it's worked fine. Glad it was that simple! Now I need to find out how to safely update the firmware as it's still on the same one as when I first got it. I was hoping to download Pokemon Unite from eShop but my firmware is too low.

@WiiEJECT, do you still recommend extracting this bootloader file now I've managed to open sysnand through reboot? Want to make sure before I mess anything else up. Also, thanks for the heads up about not touching the SD card. Bearing that in mind, how would I add this file? I appreciate it must be annoying explaining these basic things, but any clue to point me in the right direction and I'm happy to try and investigate myself.

Thanks a million!

I do, yes.
All you have to do is use Hekate, any FTP or MTP service to navigate the SD card without removing it from the console, then extract the files right into the root of the card, as simple as that.

Just wanted to add that you could also utilize an updater application to update your files but I personally wouldn't really recommend using one of those.
