Hello everyone, SX OS has been working great for me. I have emuNAND with all Homebrew stuff, and a clean Sysnand for online. I also have autoRCM enabled. I am running out of Storage and would like to be able to use multiple micro Sd cards for my switch. My only issue is since I use emuNAND, does that mean that I have to create an emuNAND for each sd card, or can I just drag my Emutendo folder to the new micro sd, or is it completely safe to just pop a new one in? I would assume this last choice would default boot CFW onto the clean Sysnand as it can’t detect an emuNAND right? I don’t want that happening so I would have to create a hidden partition emuNAND for each SD, or can I just drag the folder and it do the same thing? Thanks for the help!

yes

no, if you just copy Emutendo folder to a clean sd card that won't make SX OS to boot it as emuNAND
you're right it'll simply boot to the sysNAND

first thing first, when you boot the payload make sure to hold volume up button to boot the SX OS menu, there'll be an indicator if emuNAND is detected or not. that way you can be sure if the SX OS will boot in sysNAND or emuNAND
and I don't think you need to copy Emutendo folder to the new sd card if you simply want to play new games in it. it's just waste of space with installed updates/DLC from your older sd card

to summarize, I think what you need to simply replicate the emuNAND creation process for every new sd card and you're good. and unless I missed something, no need to copy the Emutendo folder from the older sd card

Alright thanks!

1. Did you create your emuNAND as a hidden partition on the sdcard?
2. Did you create your emuNAND as a file in your sdcard?

If it's the latter, then you just have to copy the /sxos folder to your new sdcard. But if it's the former, you can't just create a new emunand because if you create a new emunand to your new sdcard, the new emunand will be the clone of your clean sysnand.

There is no easy and available guide to transfer a hidden emunand partition to another sdcard. You'll have to clone your old sdcard to your new sdcard using your PC and after, adjust the fat32/exfat partition size.

I created a hidden emuNAND partition.

.
I'm guessing he wants to use multiple sd cards for different games, not switching to bigger sd card
so I recommended that emunand from clean sysnand may be better. for example, if he's cloning from the old emunand, he'll start with an emunand already full of saves and home menu tiles. they can be deleted afterwards of course, but better starts clean imo
