Hacking SX OS emunand setup

my switch just got here today I’m wondering if I can setup my emunand before I get my SX Pro tmro?

Yes you can, boot into RCM, copy boot.dat to microsd and inject payload.bin

after sx logo shows up, choose options>emunand>create emunand

My SX Pro got get here in the mail till tmro... so can I still do it with out it?

yes as the guy said but you’ll need a way to get into rcm.
easiest just wait for the pro to arrive so you’ll be able to use the dongle

So now iam creating the emunand (files on SD card), once it’s done how do I get it to boot into it?

boot into sx menu by holding power and vol+ until it appears
above boot custom fw option on left you should see button labelled emunand enabled.
touch that button to enable it if says disabled.
from then on you’ll boot into emunand
