LangerHans, part of the switchroot team, said that as soon as he finds a way to stop the GPU from hanging when waking after suspension/deep sleep he will ***possibly(most likely)*** release a beta version, though it is pretty much perfect so i don't why it would still be beta! :)
Anyway you can keep on their official xda forum here:
https://forum.xda-developers.com/ni.../discussion-switchroot-android-port-t3940898/
and on the Reswitched discord server ;)
So most likely a release within the next weak or two! :toot::D:hateit:
(Don't quote me on that... Please )

Are you sure you mean the ReSwitched Discord and not the Switchroot one? :P

As ByLaws and natinusala told me, it won't be possible to use a partition based emuEMMC and Android on the same SD card.
File based emuEMMC and Android are no problem though as there's still a FAT32 partition which can be used for Horizon too obviously.
Just in case you were interested.

That's great news. This will be the only reason for me to hack my unpatched switch, I would like to see how the most demanding Android games will perform.

Just out of curiousity :p, would Damon PS2 Pro emulator work through android on the switch? Or does arm64 present problems.

With the proper drivers, I don't see why it wouldn't run. Anyway, DamonPS2 stole from PCSX2, so if you do use it, please don't pay for it.

Im aware ;), I never intended to pay for it lol. Im pretty sure the big deal was that they released it as closed source though, they ignored the licensing disclaimer, so there is absolutely zero chance I will give those developers money :p.

Is there a good saturn emulator for Android? That's mostly all I'd want. The one in Lakka freezes within about 5 min :(
I think if I remember right(its mentioned in the thread), if you have threaded video disabled saturn in lakka works fine. Occassionally threaded video(under video settings) reenables itself, so it is worth checking each time you run a game.

I tried that what happens is Saturn games appear to run fine but within about 5-10 minutes any game will crash me and Ploggy both found. It has to be fixed I'm pretty sure.

Yes, but as discussed, you can't get controllers (ds4 or otherwise) working with it directly.

Yep, I tried to find how to use xbox controller with psremote on android and... nothing. I found an app for windows that emulate ds4 input and it allows to use any controller or even k+m, so maybe its not imposible. ^_^

They didn't say it wouldn't be possible :) but merely that it may conflict with hekate, it should still boot with atmosphere-primary that is until hekate fixes it! ;)

Umm tbh I don't know where I found the invite link back then or whether it's been removed from that spot but I can't seem to find one now, sorry.

It sounded kind of definite but we will see about that. :)

How long does the battery last since there is no 'deep sleep'? Will it die within a week like with AutoRCM or is it a lot worse and will die hours after putting in standby? Thanks
