Switch won't turn on

I haven't used my modded switch in around a year and when I tried to charge it nothing showed up. When I put it in the dock the light blinked a single time. I've tried cleaning the port with 91% Isoprophyle alcohol(it was 4 years expired but I don't think that matters) and none of the button combinations I've seen online worked. Does anyone know how to fix it or do I have to go get it repaired

For how long did you kept it plugged in when you tried to charge it ?

Seems like the battery is completely dry, which is to be expected because you haven't used your console for a while.

If you haven't, try to just plug the charger in for 15-30 minutes minimum and see if you can turn in on.

Leave it on the charger for a few hours first.
Sometimes it really takes a long time before the battery gets charged a little.
Then as mentioned, try to see if it in AutoRCM mode by injecting a payload.
Your screen should faintly glow blackish instead of being completely black.

Li-ion batteries do die when you leave them too long uncharged.
The Switch has a safety feature where it will not charge the battery if it has discharged too much because that can cause an explosion later on.
Also without a battery or a dead battery, the Switch won't boot.
In that case just get a replacement battery.

It was plugged in for around 2 hours
