Thanks for the suggestions! I did try removing and booting the switch without the USB C port, but unfortunately the same result. Have checked the board for shorts, didn't find any....... But I will recheck the board again.This might sound silly, but if you haven't figured this out yet, have you tried removing the USB port and boot without it? Don't just remove it, but also wick off the solder to clean all pads. Takes seconds to re-tin them if nothing changes and you want to put it back on.
But while it's off... I'd also look carefully for shorts, splatter, etc. If it still does not boot with it off, you might also go fishing for a shorted cap (in diode mode, only 1 end should beep on ground...)

I read somewhere that the Fuel Gauge needs to be reset for the capacity design to calibrate, so I don't think it's that. Have tried three different battery's and still the same result.I've tried literally everything, i have the same result as you
