So when i load up a game say breath of the wild and then go into the cheat Database to search for cheats, it says no cheats for this game. Am i doing something wrong? Or do i actually have to type them in?

there is no cheat db
check your build id and title id in the cheat menu and see if they matches the cheats that are made are

ok so im looking at BOTW in the cheat menu:

Title id: 01007ef00011e000
Build id: 16a91992bba71201

not sure if these are the ids i need to use cheats

Also do i need to make another fold called sxos/titles?
or keep the db in switch/titles?

"Cheat codes are placed inside the sxos folder on your microSD card. In order
for SX OS to pick up your cheat codes they need to be correctly placed in the
right subfolders. This subfolder format works like this:
/sxos/titles/<titleID>/cheats/<buildID>.txt
"

yes, but the site doesn't have the right title ID for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe as it is 0100152000022000. the one that is written for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe is the title ID for the Legend of Zelda BOTW
just rename it to the correct titleid if it is wrong
