Hardware Switch shuts off when disconnected from charger

I was just playing Mario odyssey and unplugged my switch and it just shut off. I had a decent amount of battery life left. Now I cannot play my switch unless it's plugged in. Any ideas of what I can do?

Sounds kinda like the battery desync bug. Did you play with linux,lakka, or stay in rcm for extended amounts of time?

Happens to me too. I can play until the battery level reaches around 50/40%. Idk why it shuts off.

I didn't try to launch Linux but it failed and never tried again. I don't think that is the case. It was also a month ago and the issue just started today.

The desync can kinda build up over time. Might try running the fix for it just to see if it helps.

Apart from opening the Switch, disconnecting the battery a couple of minutes it seems like a dead battery if it's not the desync bug.
