Hardware Switch Pro Controller to PC via USB?

I know we cant use the Pro Controller via USB, but i read that this is because we dont have drivers for it yet, so i want to ask if it would be possible to connect via USB any time in the future or is just impossible? I know that is possible via Bluetooth so lets forget that.

It's just a usb hid device that features bt, Yea it will be possible one day, idk why you even asked..
